News today:

There is SUPPOSED to be a Scarborough Open House, today, December 11, 2022. However, it does not to be available on-line. Must go in person to Bendale Public Library, 2pm to 430 pm.

Don't find that to be very "open".

Shouldn't there be platform screen doors? Again, not in the budget. Same old, same old.
there may not be any in the rendering, but it's clearly been designed for them with the low overhang immediately over the subway trains.

Also, It's interesting to see subway design return to a more basic, restrained design pattern again following the TYSSE. Simple stations, similar to the last PC-led subway project, the Sheppard line.

It is interesting in that the PCs do seem willing to spend money in a few key spots like Exhibition station, but you see a real drive to build simple stations to save costs. The OL and Scarborough station renderings we have seen generally seem quite restrained compared to even the Crosstown underground stations.
