Always great to have your fact-filled (and 'fact' correcting) posts here. Thank you!!The CLRVs and ARLVs had load weighting and leveling, but not platform matching capability. This is the same as the Flexities.

You clearly underestimate TTC drivers! So this is what Google Maps (and presumably the March TTC data set) thinks the 504C replacement bus is doing.
I sure hope this is a data error!

Using the alley south of King, between Spadina and John is particularly impressive! Hopefully not both ways at the same time!

You didn't know why they ended up in that situation, maybe they missed a turn, maybe the road was blocked due to an accident.
According to Google it's a deadend leading to that ramp. It's hard to tell the clearances from the photo. If there are sufficient clearances for a vehicle that size then it's on the driver. If GRT routed the bus down there, it's mostly on them. 'Let's see if it fits' is seldom a good plan. If you have to back out, you back out (with coverage of course). You didn't know why they ended up in that situation, maybe they missed a turn, maybe the road was blocked due to an accident.
Maybe if the operator took it more widely they would have made it.According to Google it's a deadend leading to that ramp. It's hard to tell the clearances from the photo. It's basically a fancy bus guided by GPS.Saw this interesting piece on CNBC
Could this new transit system transform cities like New York?
Autonomous Rapid Transit is a cross between light rail and a city bus. Created by the CRRC in China, it's a cost-effective alternative to mass rapid transit. Check out this video to see how it could be utilized in U.S. cities.www.cnbc.com
Wonder if TTC/ ML has looked into these
God, I hope not.Wonder if TTC/ ML has looked into these

I think they are worth looking at. Could be a good solution for BRTs for relatively the same costGod, I hope not.
Pretty sceptical about this after seeing the awkward stops and starts of the autonomous vehicles trialed in the GTA.Controlled accelerations, rubber wheels, stabilizers make it feel more like a train
