Just a note to let everyone know that one of UrbanToronto's most prolific contributors, @Jasonzed, passed away on Sunday. Jason Zytynsky's photography, particularly from aerial drones, provided amazing images to UrbanToronto threads, especially Mississauga ones, very faithfully for years, and we expect that many of you will be as saddened by this news are we are.

We do not have particulars about Jason's passing or life at this point, but we are in contact with a colleague of his who will be providing us with more information in the coming days. We will prepare a fuller tribute at that time.

This was @Jasonzed's last posted image, from Saturday in the Pinnacle One Yonge thread.

I never had occasion to meet Jason, but I certainly appreciated his contributions here; and am saddened to hear of his passing. My condolences to his family and friends.

Met him once when he first joined. Seemed like a nice guy. And clearly a strong contributor to the site. He will be missed. As Interchange42 indicated we will be doing a tribute to him once we know more.

Yes, he contributed a great deal to UT and his photos were often amazing. My thoughts are with his friends and family (and, of course, his UT family.)

This is incredibly sad, shocking news. I really looked forward to seeing his photos. My sincerest condolences to his family, friends and colleagues. It is a great loss.

Oh this is unbelievably sad :( Jason's photography was truly amazing. I always enjoyed his photo's that graced the many pages of UT.

Sending love and condolences to Jasonzed's friends and family.
