Another drive on Valley Line West. Some minor progress with paving on parts of Stony Plain Road and laying the track beds, mostly west of WEM. Some progress on the power traction stations.

I know this would have been difficult but I wish they could have (or maybe still can) get some section of road way opened in its final configuration before the snow falls.

Looks like construction on the guideway on 175 Street will start October 15.

Glad to see Valley Line ridership pickup from 138,000 in November and 145,800 in January to 223,000 in April. Almost 2 million riders to August indicates they've been averaging around that mark since.

Does anyone recall what the original ridership forecast was for Valley Line SE? And how that compares to these new stats?

28,000 per weekday, we're at roughly a third of that number as of April.
