I always enjoyed visiting Hong Kong, with trips there in 2001, 2006, 2017 and 2018. But I will never go back to Hong Kong (or China) or even transit through their airports now that their overlords in Beijing are arbitrarily kidnapping Canadians. There are plenty of other great cities in SE Asia to visit and conduct business from, such as Singapore, Taipei, Kaohsiung and Tokyo. As for my China distributors, we now meet (before Covid anyway) outside of the PRC. My guess is that Hong Kong will decline in relevance as a place to do business and travel, which is a damn shame, I especially enjoyed the Stanley market.
