A short drive north of their upcoming Miami project, the Auberge Resorts Collection is expanding their Floridian footprint with a new development in Fort Lauderdale. To be built by The Related GroupFortune International Realty, and the Fairwinds Group, Auberge Beach Residences & Spa is an oceanfront condominium that will include a total of 171 residences, all with private elevator access.

Sited at 2200 North Ocean Boulevard in the north end of Fort Lauderdale Beach, the development consists of two towers that are 22 and 17 storeys tall. Designed by Nichols Brosch Wurst Wolfe & Associates, each unit will feature floor-to-ceiling glass windows and generous balconies. Ranging in size from 1,500 to 5,000 square feet, the buildings will host one- to five-bedroom residences. Double-level penthouses will be granted over 3,500 square feet of terrace space.

Only ten percent of units remain in the north tower, which was launched to potential buyers in December 2014. In the last 90 days, the south tower has seen 15 percent of its units sold, including a record-breaking penthouse purchase of $8.9 million. That represents the most expensive condominium transaction in Fort Lauderdale, a title previously held by a $6.9 million suite at the Ritz-Carlton. The penthouse boasts four bedrooms, six baths, a den, a sunroom, and nearly 4,000 square feet of exterior living space with a private plunge pool.

Perched above the underground parking garage on the first floor, a two-storey lobby borders the development's amenities package, which includes a pool deck, spa, and cabanas. A state-of-the-art fitness centre will overlook the pool deck and the Atlantic Ocean, while a club room with multimedia facilities and activities complement the children's playroom and library. This roster of amenities will be available to residents when they receive keys in late 2017.
