Shibuya, Tokyo, is one of the fashion and nightlife hubs of Japan as well as a busy tourist destination, hosting one of Tokyo's busiest railway stations. The newest development to come up in this district is the aptly named Shibuya Station Building

The Shibuya Station Building will be a 749-foot tower, housing 46 storeys of office space. Designed by Tokyu Architects and Engineers Inc., this building will be clad in clear glass with green space and an observation deck on the roof to provide stunning views of the city below. Additionally, the building will be equipped with modern disaster prevention measures.

The construction of this building is part of a plan to expand and urbanize the area around Shibuya Station to encourage local business and investment while asserting Tokyo's position as an international city. The building is currently under construction, and is set to be completed in 2019.
