Today's Viewfinder features a Chicago landmark that held the title of world's tallest for a quarter century, from 1973 to 1998. Standing at a height of 1,451 feet (442 metres), the Willis Tower (still commonly referred to by its former name of Sears Tower) was designed by Skidmore, Ownings, & Merrill, and still remains the tallest landmark on the Chicago skyline. The 108-storey tower is featured in today's Viewfinder, submitted to the SkyriseCities Flickr Pool by SNeequaye.
