Today's Daily Photo features a Soviet-era landmark in the heart of Warsaw, Poland. Standing 237 metres above the city, the imposing Palace of Culture and Science has remained the country's tallest since being built in 1955. In the days since the fall of the Soviet Union, the city's skyline has been populated by numerous modern highrise towers, though the Palace of Culture and Science remains the skyline's dominating feature.
