Today's Daily Photo features the newest arena to enter use in the National Hockey League (NHL). Edmonton's Rogers Place first opened its doors in early-September, with the first NHL exhibition game occurring later that month. Submitted to the project's Forum thread by contributor DarrenK, this shot shows the new sporting facility at night, as well as the new MacEwan Station on the Metro LRT Line.
