South Palm Beach Mayor Bonnie Fischer was joined by a host of development principals last week in breaking ground at 3550 South Ocean Boulevard, where a 30-residence luxury condominium is set to rise over the sunny shores of Florida. Sales of the two- and three-bedroom residences began earlier this year, with 20 percent of the units now spoken for, with available residences starting at $1.875 million USD.
Integrated real estate development firm DDG, armed with a solid reputation in California and New York, appointed Garcia Stromberg and Kobi Karp Architecture to design the seven-storey building, which features a sawtooth footprint that enables the penetration of northern light while offering views of the Atlantic Ocean. Each home also benefits from direct elevator access, private entry foyers, private balconies, direct water views, and expansive layouts between 2,700 to over 3,000 square feet. The five penthouses crowning the structure boast immense private rooftop terraces.
Interiors designed by Champalimaud sport a timeless Palm Beach style, with clean lines and a soft colour palette accented by multiple materials and textures. Open kitchens and living areas, custom oversize islands, solid oak flooring, floor-to-ceiling glass windows, come standard in each unit.
Residents of 3550 South Ocean will be able to access a suite of curated amenities, including private beach access, a beachfront saltwater swimming pool and sun terrace, and a fitness studio. DDG has also entered into a partnership with The Wright Fit to facilitate on-demand lifestyle services, from in-residence massages to indoor and outdoor private training.
Construction is expected to continue until late 2018. Additional images and information can be found in the Database file linked below. Want to get involved in the discussion or share your photos?
