Quinlan Development Group and Lonicera Partners have completed Downtown Brooklyn's newest multi-family project, a 108-unit luxury rental building called The Lane. The 21-storey building, designed by Ennead Architects, boasts a facade of classic brick and contemporary glass, fitting within the urban fabric of one of Brooklyn's oldest streets.

Located near the Borough Hall train station at 415 Red Hook Lane, a private entrance leads to a double-height lobby serviced by a 24-hour concierge. Each of the 108 residences, ranging from studio to three-bedroom layouts, are outfitted with soundproof windows, custom solar window shades, and Bosch washer and dryers. A one-bedroom apartment starts at $2,723.

An amenity space on the third floor contains a fitness centre and an outdoor cool down area, a children's playroom specially curated by local educator Carmelo the Science Fellow, and a club room attached to a sprawling outdoor terrace. This furnished space is equipped with grills, seating, and shuffleboard. The views though are perhaps the star attraction. Construction wrapped up back in August and residents began moving into the new development in the early days of November.
