The 53-storey Aria on the Bay at 1770 N. Bayshore Drive in Downtown Miami is on pace to finish construction in early 2018, with almost 90 percent of its 648 units sold and under hard contract. Designed by Arquitectonica for developer Melo Group, all four of the building's triple penthouse residences have been accounted for, with prices ranging from $1.8 million to over $6 million.

Carlos Melo, principal of the Melo Group, says construction is set to wrap up within the next 90 days, when the first residents will pour in. That includes the well-heeled occupants of the penthouses, which span the top three storeys of the building, and features interior living areas from 2,600 to 4,800 square feet. These residences will offer exclusive rooftop terraces with private pools, open-air summer kitchens, and 12-foot-deep wraparound balconies that translate to 3,000 square feet of outdoor living space.

The select few residences currently available include one- to four-bedroom condominiums priced from the $400,000s to $1.8 million. But no matter the size of the unit, each will be graced with unobstructed views of Biscayne Bay, Miami Beach and the downtown skyline.

All residents will also have access to a 14th floor amenity deck with two sunrise/sunset-facing swimming pools, custom-seated fire pits, barbecue grills, and outdoor summer kitchens. Additional features extend to the indoors, where a fitness centre, yoga studio, entertainment lounge, screening room, games room, library, children's playroom, and business centre will be located. The lower levels of the building have been outfitted with 10,000 square feet of commercial space, including office, retail and restaurant space on the main floor.
