A 64-storey luxury condominium tower has hit a major construction milestone high above the streets of Miami. Vertical construction of CMC Group's Brickell Flatiron has reached the halfway point, with crews finishing the forming of the building's 32nd floor. To ultimately rise 224 metres, builders are on pace to complete a full floor of construction every week until topping off later this year.

Approximately 75 percent of the development's 549 units have sold and are now under hard contract, roughly eight in ten condominium sales within the last 30 days originating from buyers within the northeastern United States. Tower residences boast nine-foot ceiling heights, with penthouse elevations gaining another foot. All residences feature floor-to-ceiling windows and elliptical balconies with finished flooring.

Ugo Colombo, founder of CMC Group, commissioned Italian design architect Massimo Iosa Ghini to fashion interior amenities that take cues from the curvilinear exterior by local architect Luis Revuelta. On-site conveniences include an 18th floor lap pool, private movie theatre, library lounge, children's play area, and a 64th floor rooftop pool with sweeping water and city views.

Construction is expected to wrap up in 2019. Unit prices start from $500,000 and max out at $15.5 million for penthouses.
