Sydney's booming northwest will soon welcome three residential towers as part of a transformative plan developed by Cbus Property. The Langston, to be located just 100 metres from Epping Train Station on the site of the Westpac office in Langston Place will feature three towers of 29, 25 and 19 storeys, containing a total of 463 premium apartments.

Tower One, Langston Parkview, will be located at the corner of Pembroke Street and Chambers Court. The second tower, Langston Central, will be situated southwest of the final tower, to be known as Langston Tower, which will rise from the corner of Langston Place and Epping Road.

All towers are designed by Architectus, with abundant landscaping fashioned by Arcadia. Settling on the highest land point in Epping, the development's elevation will give residents full panoramas of the Sydney central business district, Harbour Bridge and Blue Mountains.

In addition to residences, the project will contain 1,681 square metres of retail space and 1,921 square metres of communal open space, all connected to an existing public library and recreational facilities by laneways and pedestrian links.

"The Langston will herald a new era for Epping and is set to be a major contributor to the improvement of public space that is planned as part of the new town centre, linking pedestrians from the station through to the eastern side of Epping," said Adrian Pozzo, chief executive office at Cbus Property. "The precinct will significantly refurbish the public domain, with granite flagstones and mature trees lining a vibrant shareway where pedestrians will be the priority in a fully-paved streetscape with curbs."

The future Epping Town Centre is on track to deliver 3,750 new homes within a ten-minute walk of the train station. The area is also expected to see a number of significant upgrades to local infrastructure, including the arrival of the $8.3 billion Sydney Metro North West, scheduled to open next year.

The Langston should start construction in January 2019. Additional images and information can be found in the Database file linked below. Want to get involved in the discussion or share your photos?
