TwentyTwo, the tower formerly known as Pinnacle (with a brief stint as 22 Bishopsgate in the interim), has progressed dramatically since our last update.

Located in the heart of "The City," the PLP Architecture-designed, 62-storey office tower by AXA and Lipton Rogers has already become a fixture of the ever-changing face of London's financial district.

Viewed from street level, TwentyTwo's immediate presence within the local landscape can be seen, the smooth glass exterior a stark contrast to the Georgian and Victorian era facades typical of central London.

Once completed in 2019, the 278-metre office tower will briefly become the tallest tower in The City, that is at least until the completion of the 290-metre 1 Undershaft.

SkyriseCities will be sure to return to this project as progress continues. For more information, check out the associated Database file and Forum thread, and as always, feel free to join the conversation in the comments section below.
