Little more than a patch of dirt just ten months ago during our last update, Sterling Bay's 210 North Carpenter has reached its full 12-storey height, the application of the boutique office block's signature brick cladding having now climbed up the bulk of the structure.

Captured again below in close-up, the masonry cladding work now underway will be highly evocative of the neighbourhood's long history as a centre for early 20th-century warehouses and meatpacking plants. Today a big draw for tech firms and start-ups, such as Google and McDonald's, the area's ubiquitous post-and-beam architecture has made it a magnet for companies in search of "cool" office spaces.

Designed by Solomon Cordwell Buenz, the boutique office block is capped with a three-storey, glass-wrapped, rooftop amenity space, open to all employees, which will be home to a pool deck, terrace, gaming lounge, fitness centre, yoga studio, and conference room.

Located next to the Morgan Lake L Station, the 200,000 square-foot office building will soon be home to hundreds of workers and support staff, the handsome, heritage-esque structure to be a highly welcome addition to Fulton Market.

SkyriseCities will be sure to return to this project as progress continues. For more information, check out the associated Database file and Forum thread, and as always, feel free to join the conversation in the comments section below.
