Rising above the site of a former soap factory in Williamsburg, Brooklyn's latest addition to the local housing market comes in the pleasing all-brick form of the Issac & Stern-designed, 308 North 7th Street. Developed by Adam America Real Estate Development and Naveh Shuster Group, the 9-stoery, 45-unit residential development is slated to open in early 2019.

Faced entirely in distressed brick, the building's distinctive design was directly inspired by the early 20th-century redbrick soap factory that long occupied the site prior to its recent demolition. Accented by the addition of decorative metal panels, the distressed brick look has been worked seamlessly into the facade.

Residences will range from one-to-three-bedroom units, 29 of the 45 suites to include outdoor space. The large rooftop amenity space will include an outdoor terrace, along with a fitness centre, and children's playroom.

Offering sublime skyline vistas, residents of 308 North 7th Street will be sure to take advantage of the rooftop amenity space, the unobstructed view of Manhattan likely to be a key selling feature for those looking to purchase on one of the upper floors.

SkyriseCities will be sure to return to this project as progress continues. For more information, check out the associated Database file and Forum thread, and as always, feel free to join the conversation in the comments section below.
