Coming soon to the Scarborough Beach waterfront in Perth, Beach Shack by Norup + Wilson will place residents along one of Western Australia's most desirable oceanside locales. Designed by Plus Architecture, the two-tower, 99-unit, condo development will offer luxury living and sweeping oceanfront vistas for all of its residents.

Featuring an array of innovative design stylings and features, Beach Shack has been built in what is being described as a local vernacular style, the undulating balconies, thus allowing the residents the best views possible, one of the many homegrown touches to be incorporated into each of the two towers.

Beyond aesthetics, Beach Shack will be feature unique sliding car bays - the first of their kind in Perth - each of which will be equipped with an electric car charger, thereby promoting a green-friendly future.

Technology will be an important part of this development, guests to benefit from keyless door locks, fibre optic cabling, remote-controlled lighting systems, and many other features with an eye towards sustainibility, such as recycling chutes, and a solar-passive design. Construction is slated to begin later this year.

SkyriseCities will be sure to return to this project as progress continues. For more information, check out the associated Database file and Forum thread, and as always, feel free to join the conversation in the comments section below.
