First proposed back in 2011, Alvear Tower Puerto Madero by the Grupo Alvear and PfZ Arquitectos has been a long time in the making. Today nearing completion in Buenos Aires, the 235-metre, 54-storey, residential high-rise is slated to become the tallest of its kind in all of Argentina, and one of the tallest on the continent.

Located in the heart of Beunos Aires' Puerto Madero, the $240-million (USD), 180-unit high-rise development, will place residents within the bustling waterfront district of the city, close to shopping, restaurants, bars, nightlife, and the metro.

Billed as a luxury residence, the suites, ranging from 90-500 square metres, are currently selling at a rate of approximately $12,000 (USD/square metre). Featuring many top-tier amenities, including a rooftop bar and restaurant, along with a pool, lounge, music room, and spa, Alvear Tower promises to be a prime address.

Of course, beyond the amenities, buyers will be investing primarily in the views, the tallest tower in all of Argentina to provide a level of cachet designed to entice the highest echelons of buyers and investors alike.
