Things are looking up at St. John's International Airport (YYT). The imminent arrival of a brand new Maple Leaf Lounge, as part of the ongoing expansion of the East terminal, will see the space re-imagined as a modern, airy lounge, complete with panoramic views of Signal Hill and the Atlantic Ocean.

77 percent larger, with room for 46 additional seats, the new lounge space will be expanded from 2,000 square feet to 3,500. The 84-seat space will also include a TV area, self-serve bistro and bar, and new washrooms. Set to open this fall, the new Maple Leaf Lounge will help facilitate travel for a lucky few of YYT's 860,000 customers who pass through its gates every year.
