Eighteen months since our last update, and progress at CANVAS Miami has moved along well, the 37-storey condo tower now complete. Developed by NR Investments and designed by CFE Architects, the aptly-named CANVAS Miami has been made all the more unique thanks to the contribution of 22 artists, the 514-unit luxury high-rise having become one of the city's largest livable art installations.
Artistically enhanced on each floor, CANVAS Miami has lived up to its name, there being a total of 245 original artworks to be found across the entirety of the structure, including 83 murals and 162 framed prints.
Above and below, the colourful faces that can be seen in these examples are joined on other floors by more abstract images, along with individual framed pieces which can be found throughout the building.
For its part, CANVAS Miami has also been artfully designed, the tower rising high atop a 1-acre site in Miami's Arts + Entertainment district south of Edgewater and north of Downtown. Making effective use of the setback created by the multi-stoey above-grade parking podium, the residential portion of the tower benefits from multiple outdoor pool decks and terraces, found both atop the podium and tower.
While lounging poolside may be tempting for most, CANVAS Miami also includes a full range of indoor amenities, including a yoga studio, fitness centre, racquetball court, zen spa and sauna, and a theatre room. Well-situated in the heart of the action and close to the ocean, CANVAS Miami provides residents with the best the city has to offer.
