Two years since we last reported on the swath of development taking place at Boston's Seaport District, and the aptly-named 121 Seaport has now reached completion. The 17-storey office tower by Skanska and CBT Architects has made a fine addition to the Boston skyline, its distinctively round, scalloped, glass exterior a standout addition to the city.

121 Seaport's elliptical structure offers a virtually column-free floor space, and a 70-foot wide pedestrian promenade. The tower rises high above two floors of ground-level retail and a three-storey lobby, the LEED Platinum development wrapped top to bottom in a continuous glass curtain wall.

The top floor features an outdoor terrace and fitness centre, Boston's latest office tower offering its tenants and their employees with a healthy, modern workspace.
