Italian architect and designer Antonio Citterio's first United States project has now entered sales. Located at 8955 Collins Avenue in Surfside, a sought-after area just north of Miami Beach, Arte will contain 16 luxury homes across its 12-storey articulated frame.
The ziggurat-style boutique development is being developed by SC 8955 LLC, an Israel and New York-based subsidiary of Sapir Corp LTD. Antonio Citterio has provided the architectural language for Arte, one of only a handful of residential designs in his lengthy portfolio.
"We are excited to be the first to introduce Antonio Citterio's work here in the U.S. with Arte," said Alex Sapir, Chairman of Sapir Corp LTD. "The level of design, finish and detail that went into the building is unprecedented in the Miami market. Antonio is very creative and thoughtful in his work, and we feel his sophisticated aesthetic will be well received by buyers and the community.
Evoking the name of the project, an original "ART" sculpture designed by Robert Indiana, responsible for the pop art "LOVE" sculptures found in several American cities, will take a prominent place outside the front entrance of the building.
Arte's Mediterranean-inspired interiors feature three- to five-bedroom floor plans ranging in size from approximately 3,150 to 7,550 square feet. Embracing both indoor and outdoor living, expansive external terraces are clad in travertine with ipe decking blending into open living spaces. Kitchens are outfitted with Poliform cabinetry, Italian marble countertops and Gaggenau appliances.
An exhaustive amenities package includes a resort-like health and wellness offering that includes a 75-foot-long indoor swimming pool, an outdoor swimming pool, a rooftop tennis court, fully-equipped fitness centre and yoga studio, sauna and steam room, and a meditation pond. Additional on-site conveniences include a children's playroom, residents' lounge, and catering kitchen.
