An under construction mixed use development has been making waves in the Queens borough of New York recently. Known collectively as Tangram, the project seeks to offer residents upscale living alongside many residential and commercial amenities. Tangram also includes an office and hotel component. Located in Downtown Flushing along 39th Avenue, Tangram is just steps from a bustling commercial corridor as well as the Main St Station on the 7 Line.

The centerpiece of the project, Tangram Tower, was completed in recent weeks. The 12-storey tower will soon be home to an array of professional businesses. This prime, Grade A space will come in the form of 48 office suites that will house a mix of medical practitioners, professionals, and business owners.

Designed by Margulies Hoelzli Architecture, the Tangram tower features a very modern design with a glass facade and glazed curtain walls. The office space was designed column-less to allow for a more spacious interior. Interior designs feature a warm and welcoming space for both employees and patrons. Parking for the tower comes in the form of a three-level underground garage featuring 1,100 spaces.

Upon the full buildout, the Tangram development in its entirety will feature upwards of 1.2 million square feet of mixed use space. In addition to the recently completed Tangram Tower, the project will eventually be home to a four star Renaissance Hotel, a Regal Cinema-branded 4DX movie theatre, and 275,000 square feet of retail space.
