Six weeks since our last update, and progress at YOTELPAD Miami has been making steady gains. In particular, the site recently celebrated its first major foundation cement pour, the event captured in a series of images.

The August 10th pour involved 1,000 cubic yards of concrete, requiring 110 cement trucks, and over eight hours of work. The images above and below were captured on the day, and depict the site before, after, and in the midst of the action.

The 31-storey YOTELPAD Miami by Aria Development Group, AQARAT, and Stantec will be the first of its kind on the East Coast. Thus setting a new standard for the line, the Miami location will be a first in more ways than one.

Located downtown, at the corner of NE 2nd St and NE 2nd Ave, YOTELPAD Miami will place guests and residents within the heart of the city, close to all of the most popular restaurants, clubs, and shopping that the city has to offer. The project will also be close to the waterfront, Metromover, and Bayfront Park.

SkyriseCities will be sure to return to this project as progress continues. For more information, check out the associated Database file and Forum thread, and as always, feel free to join the conversation in the comments section below.
