A 45-storey "Gotham-esque" luxury residential tower in New York City has reached its structural peak. Topping off of Rose Hill, located at 30 East 29th Street in Manhattan's NoMad neighbourhood, was celebrated by developer Rockefeller Group, and marks the firm's fist luxury residential tower on the island.
The 123-unit full-service condominium tower launched sales in the summer. In the months since, the building has climbed to its 183-metre pinnacle, making it one of the tallest residential buildings in the neighbourhood. The development takes its name from the 130-acre Rose Hill Farm estate that previously occupied the land.
Starting from $1.2 million USD, the building contains studios to four-bedroom residences that range in size and layout. The Art Deco facade of Rose Hill is complemented by a timeless interior design by CetraRuddy, with homes outfitted in hand-picked materials, custom kitchen cabinetry, marble baths with custom-designed vanities, oversized windows, and high ceilings. Multiple residences feature generous private outdoor space.
CetraRuddy also designed the exterior of the building, which boasts a detailed bronze-hued skin framing large windows. Like the Art Deco masterpieces that helped define Manhattan's built character, the tower base and crown will be illuminated to highlight key architectural details.
Amenities have been designed to advance a social and active living experience for residents, with a health and wellness club, an exclusive lobby bar, a curated library, and a garden courtyard among the building's biggest communal perks. A 37th floor private residents club will also ensure all residents have access to penthouse-like views.
Rose Hill is on track for closings to begin in late 2020.
Rockefeller Group was founded over 90 years ago to build Rockefeller Center. The company continues to own and develop real estate assets across the country today.
