After accomplishing its concrete foundation pour in August, YOTELPAD Miami has made swift progress above grade. Designed by Stantec for Aria Development Group and AQARAT, the hotel and residential project will eventually climb to a pinnacle of 31 storeys, and recent site photos show the tower is well on its way to reaching that point.

The sold-out development will feature 231 residential units and 222 hotel rooms upon completion, which is expected in 2021. A state-of-the-art fitness centre, organic matcha bar, elevated rooftop deck with a pool, skytop lounge and game area, and a full-service restaurant are just some of the amenities expected to be packed within the tower's rectilinear frame.

Adding to the project's unique hotel experience, YOTELPAD Miami will become one of the first buildings in the city to offer a robot concierge service. The property will have three robots available to deliver food, packages and other items directly to the door. Japan started the trend of robot-run hotels in 2015, with other cities like Singapore, Boston and New York following suit.

YOTELPAD condos range in size from 417 to 708 square feet and can be rented on a short-term basis. The hotel portion, which construction crews are now forming the floors and walls for, serves as the base of the project.

SkyriseCities will be sure to return to this project as progress continues. For more information, check out the associated Database file and Forum thread, and as always, feel free to join the conversation in the comments section below.
