    Toronto Toronto | Burke Condominiums | 163.4m | 53s | Concert | Arcadis

Taken from Yonge/St.Clair on 30 May. I can see the BlogTO article now: Sherbourne is the new Ossington! 😝

That community centre is great! The rooftop patio has really unique views! The thing about CityPlace is that when it started to be built there wasn’t much around it so it was barren but 20 years later the city has grown up around it. The Well will make a big difference as it is a two minute walk...

Just wanted to say that I get the use of CityPlace as a metaphor and what it is meant to convey but as time goes on CityPlace is becoming a more normal and integrated part of the city.

    Toronto Toronto | Concord Canada House | 231.97m | 74s | Concord Adex | Arcadis

    Toronto Toronto | Waterworks Building Redevelopment | 47.55m | 13s | MOD Developments | Diamond Schmitt

Oh no! Must I be accountable for what I say?! I did not mean to start a tiff but I wondered if I was wrong so I did quickly look it up and found that the Old City of Toronto had 8,200 peeps/km2 whereas NY had 11,300 and San Francisco had 7,100. Now I said neighbourhood so 20,000 for Toronto...

O Out of the way? Lol! Waterworks is smack dab in the middle of the second highest concentration of residential density in NA!

Another little bit of news from the tour was that the Art Trail will actually be dozens of installations rather than the two I thought were going in.

    Central London, Ontario

Creating this as there is a lot going on in this rapidly growing city’s core. Some of these may warrant threads but I will let others decide. The first interesting thing is yet another church expanding uses to stay viable. This is a stunning structure and the area around it is densifying...

    Office Space Conversions

I found this interesting. On the London thread of SSP it is being said that an office building at 376 Richmond Street has been sold by court order to a numbered company. It is a smaller structure that will most likely be torn down and developed as residential. I wonder if this is going to become...

    Closest Urban Area To GTHA

In what measures? Besides both cities being on a Great Lake.

    Closest Urban Area To GTHA

It has been on my mind that Toronto is obviously diverging from NA urban models and that this is accelerating. Coupled with this is the past comparison to the Greater Chicago Region in terms of size. However that is no longer useful for numerous reasons. Then where can we look for models of...
