On the topic of Kensington I don't think this has been posted yet .. Preliminary renders of a new condo development (Kensington Station) from Stonebriar Crafted Homes (designed by McKinley Burkart) on Gladstone Road behind RBC to the west on the triangular parcel.

The Bow to Bluff corridor plan has been refreshed and could start construction in 2018:

I like the idea of the bike lane along 9A. It looks like I'll moving offices in the spring, back to downtown, and I'm planning to cycle to work and that path would be nice should they build it.

That bike lane already exists (it's how you connect to the 10th street lane via 4th avenue), but the street treatment they are proposing with pavers will make it much nicer.
That's now that you mention it, it is there indeed. I agree, it'll be nicer then the usual painted chevrons. Overall, the whole Bow to Bluff looks good.
