Here is the unoccupied building during earth hour today. what's with all the intense and pointless exterior building lighting, this is ridiculous, there are houses on the other side of the street, I feel bad for the poor neighbours that are going to have to live with this horrible building

The unsightliness and waste of electricity here is truly absurd.

Electricity waste on these kinds of things isn't nearly as much as many assume as they are almost certainly LED lighting which draws basically no power. That entire display of overkill lighting probably burns less power than typical exterior lighting schemes of a decade ago.

Doesn't mean it's not ugly.
