Plans from Magnus Kaminiarz & Cie. Architektur for a three-tower residential highrise development in central Frankfurt could see the Former Central Post Office grounds transformed into a collection of modern white towers built by Becken Development GmbH. To be located along Stiftstrasse, just around the corner from the architecturally spectacular 2008-built 'My Zeil' shopping centre, the new development will soon become part of the ongoing transformation of central Frankfurt.

Sparkling white save for a smattering of natural green accents provided by a series of vegetation-heavy outdoor terraces, the planned three-tower residential development will be clad in natural stone. Designed from the inside out, every square inch of the three buildings has been well thought out, with the development's collective massing and progressive verticality all part of the meticulous design scheme.

Rising to 44, 56, and 84 metres, the three-tower development will likely be a welcome addition to central Frankfurt, bringing an influx of new residences to the city centre, which will provide a boost to the area's already vibrant pedestrian-friendly atmosphere.

SkyriseCities will be sure to return to this project as more details comes to light. For more information, check out the associated Database file and Forum thread, and as always, feel free to join the conversation in the comments section below.
