In the four months since our last update, progress at the site of Mast Capital's Louver House has been moving along nicely, with the most recent drone images revealing the extent of work now being performed atop the three-storey structure. With the rooftop terrace and pool now roughed in, it will not be long until the first glimpses of cladding start to appear.

Designed by local architect Rene Gonzalez, the 12-unit luxury condo with prices starting at $2.5 million, will feature a series of high-end amenities, many of which can be made out from the aerial shots included above and below. Taking advantage of Miami's year-round good weather, the rooftop negative-edge pool, lounge, and yoga studio, will be among the many draws to this development. The building's close proximity to Miami Beach, coupled with the availability of a full-time personal chauffeur, will also help attract those in the market for a luxury condo at the heart of the city's most desirable districts.

Recently topped off, it will not be long until the building's exterior details begin to be appear. Louver House will eventually be clad in a series of horizontal wooden slats, or louvers, from which the development gets its name. Harkening back to the era of Miami Modern, the completed look will be composed of a blend of mid-century and contemporary design cues.

Once complete, Louver House will be a welcome addition to Miami Beach, the unimposing low-rise structure designed to not overwhelm its surroundings. Part of the upward swing of the area's hot property market, Louver House will fit in well with its luxurious neighbours.

SkyriseCities will be sure to return to this project as progress continues. For more information, check out the associated Database file and Forum thread, and as always, feel free to join the conversation in the comments section below.
