There are a few very specific criticisms of this project in the comments and as someone who is not a professional architect, I find it hard to reconcile the plans I am looking at with those criticisms.

I think it would be excellent, and helpful, to lay people like myself if criticisms could be followed up with different ideas. Maybe some sketches of alternate concepts?

Otherwise it seems too easy to say that things are a missed opportunity - show us what we're missing!

I think it would add another dimension to the discussion if people posted their own ideas of what could be done on this big blank canvas of downtown real estate.

I didn't listen in to the hearing, but it sounds like this rezoning passed.

Maybe, now that they have changed the zoning, the developers will be able to play with some of the ground level elements to make this a better project ?

Are the 48 and 37 theirs too or is that another? Emerald is across the way, correct? I can't keep all these straight.

^Which is a shame, because with the exception of 96th thru 92nd Streets, this is probably the portion of Jasper that's in the most desperate need of some love.
