This will be presented at Hamilton's DRP Thursday:
Development of a 31-storey mixed use development, with a 4 storey podium, containing 412 sq. m. of commercial gross floor area on the ground level, 380 residential units on floors 2-30, and a rooftop amenity area. 176 parking spaces are proposed.

By my count this is the 44th tower (15+ storeys) proposed or under construction in Downtown Hamilton.
There is some serious velocity now. Lots of proposals and lots of towers breaking ground even just this year. The Design District has moved very fast, for instance. I thought NE downtown was going to be the final frontier for DT redevelopment, but it really seems to be the area of focus instead- especially for the developers who want/prefer bigger assemblies.

As a life long resident of the Hammer, I have to agree. So unlikely the NE quadrant would be the focus of so many HD proposals. With the start of the Design District, will see if it is infectious.
 
It's great to see these parking lots disappear one by one with high density residential towers. Hopefully the designs keep getting better over time too.
Absolutely, good riddance ugly wasteland of parking lots and hello dense modern city! Hamilton is booming!!! I quite like this one and also hope the quality on these new towers keeps improving over time. No more Vranich specials lol
