Still a nice addition to Spadina, but the loss of setbacks/articulation on the top-most floors (incl mech penthouse) is a V-E miss.
I agree, but at least the Hudson across the street has a nicely articulated crown, so it's not like the immediate block is nothing but two story Victorians and window-wall matchbox condos like much of downtown.

If I had to pick my poison Id pick VE of the crown over VE of street level/podium where it's more noticeable.
 
I noted my anxiety on the materials earlier, but overall I like the form. I could see something like this at the vacant LCBO at King and Spadina.
 
Remarkably empathetic design from the scale to the vernacular! It's lovely to see something that adds to the neighbourhood.

That will be a spectacular corner if this gets built. Let's hope the materials don't cheap out.
