If a settlement agreement was adopted by council in the summer @ 80 storeys (see @Northern Light's post above)... how did it end up with an 8 storey haircut at OLT? In other words, how did it end up at OLT at all? 🤔

I haven't gone through the history, but this is what is reported in NRU. Perhaps the City agreed to settle but other parties did not?

Three condominiums and a community action group were represented at the tribunal and I don't think they were there to support it like the city. The 269.05 metre settlement offer was approved. I can't explain the lower floor count. I wouldn't be concerned about it.

Riocan has put everything on hold and they have a whack of developments in the pipeline across Canada. I don't think they will be too aggressive once they start building again. This is not going to be built and that's a good thing.

OOOF that looks like the wind is going to come straight down that thing!!

Happy to see a high floor amenity though. They seem to be fairly rare as they take valuable salable area.

Not a fan of the new boxy charcoal grey podium and ommision of the curves on the Bloor side. Should have kept it as beige with the indentations.

I’m surprised this is going to get built given the state of the market.

Although I guess this is only a demo - and they don’t have to do anything following that.

Perhaps @ProjectEnd could speak to this..............

But, I think the demo permit reason might just be found here: (From the Detailed Revision List)
