The One received a mention in the new episode of the B1M podcast at around the the 58:00 mark.

If you missed the full episode they did on the building a few months back here it is also.

I love listenin' to their podcast just as much as watching their videos. I agree with what Luke mentioned about Foster + Partners, but I want to share some thoughts about The One. I love this buildin', but the project took a very long time to get started, with numerous delays occurring before the pandemic and a recent name change from one developer to another developer. From the beginning, it has felt like one big gimmick. The project took so long to progress that Apple ultimately decided not to open its store at the site. And as I mentioned before, Sam Mizrahi was removed from the development and replaced with Tridel around this time last year because of how much in debt they were from all the delays. While it has been great to finally see construction on the project finally commencing and gettin' taller than One Bloor, etc., I just feel mixed about it now and hopin' that there won't be any other delays/mishaps as this buildin' reaches its pinnacle. I must admit that what Luke said about how generic Foster + Partners’ designs have become—especially with buildings like 350 Park Avenue—is sadly true. However, I still love 270 Park Avenue; that building is exceptional.

Not likely. Probably 2 months for the remaining floors then 2-3 months for the top mechanical section. My money would be on July 1st.
The top floors don’t look complicated. Not typical mechanical floors. Subtract 1 week. Tuesday July 1 vs Friday June 20? :)

It's been communicated in news stories that they are only building to 85s.
Well, just to nitpick...

Tridel has not yet categorically stated that they will stop at 85 storeys, but the receiver has only referred to it as an 85-storey building (or 86 storeys, but no-one knows where that number comes from). In any case @elad, it will definitely not be 94 storeys as they did not manage to receive zoning approval for more than 91 storeys.

I do not believe that we will know for sure that it is only going to 85 storeys until the new marketing campaign begins, whenever that happens... but I think that is the most likely outcome.
