On Thursday I was standing at the bus stop outside the station, and I saw 2 workmen, 1 on a ladder, just like in Marko 16's picture. They were cleaning the sign, but then started measuring it abd drawing marks on it with a black marker. I figured they might be getting ready to cut part of the sign away, leaving behind the symbols but changing the name. So I asked if that's what was happening, and they said yes, the name is changing to...
DON MILLS STATION
Of course, there is alread a Don Mills Station on the Sheppard Subway, so maybe the name will be Don Mills South. Or maybe they will change the name of the Sheppard line station.
BTW, this is my first post on this site. I tried to register on Thursday to post this message, but the site has to send me an email to complete the registration, and it wasn't sending it until today. So apologies if others have already posted this news elsewhere, but if not, then I might be the first to annouce it.
Thank you for verifying that!

Hah, I was just at the location in the lower left picture above, an hour ago, which looks like about the same time the picture was taken, going by the shadows (it's looking south) walking home with my groceries, making use of the new crossing. You almost got me in the picture!

Oh, I mean Line 5...the title in the subject of this thread inpart. I know it's easy to forget, when left dormant seemingly for the ages after it's construction...
Oh, thst prophesized line? Aye...I'd need sone convincing to believe it'll open soon.

Though I recall *September* is whats being quoted for service.

Strange they’re doing road work this late in the game. Additional stuff added in later? Ontario Line related?
To be honest, I'm not really sure which project this is related to. I added pics from similar angles to the Ontario Line thread a few weeks back, but saw Flonicky only took pics of the other side (where the gas station was), so thought I might have been wrong.

This looks like bus bays or a kiss-&-ride which could be related to either project (or both).

I'll try to ask a Metrolinx person when next I'm in the area.
