When I took my pics there was a security guard walking around out there.

While I do think retail will really struggle there, I do hope that a restaurant or cafe opens to make great use of the space.

So it is open to the general public. Thought it would be security swipe passed or something along those lines for residents only.

Yes, although there are parts of downtown Vancouver that I feel are far worse than here. Somehow they seem to be able to keep it contained in one area, whereas here it seems to spill over throughout downtown constantly.

A part of me wishes we were like Singapore where all the older buildings that are not historical must be updated.
