There is large dock on Lower Sherbourne just south of T&S, one ON Princess nearer Front (beside T&S) plus one on Frederick and one on The Esplanade each a VERY short walk to T&S. We may need more docks but not, I would say, closer to T&S. The REAL problem is that BikeShare have got REALLY poor at bike-balancing and one frequently finds docks with no (working) bikes or docs with no spaces. Life being as it is, I always seem to find no bikes when I want one and no free docks when I need one!! :-> They need to work more time and effort on the balancing and less on adding more docks! (BTW Thge dock in Market lane Park has gone - work on Park is starting, eventually.
This!^^ And it's not just locals noticing. An old friend was just up from Washington DC for a week & said the bike share here was 50% awesome/ 50% frustrating because sometimes he needed to bike so far to find a free dock that he may as well have walked the entire distance.

SPA resubmission with a 1 floor increase for both towers making this 50 & 46 storeys. Additional changes include redistributions to the GFA and unit mix, a decrease in vehicular parking from 169 to 163 and an increase in bike parking from 1012 to 1234.

Soil remediation shoring permit has also been issued:

Excavation has begun. Hoping this one is massively delayed considering how horrible leasing is going at Canary Landing.
Is that confirmed or just speculation re: Canary Landing? Surprised as it seems like a beautiful building and great location.

If you look online you there is a ton of availability, to the point that they are offering 2 months free + other means of attracting tenants. Only ones not likely available are the units for affordable housing. Also, tons of complaints around noise and craftsmanship on Reddit especially. Also, the building is not rent controlled so lots of speculation that the rent will increase in a year or two.

Hmmm does shoring involve the removal of a building? I see them tearing down the old building. Maybe it’s part of the process. Looks like a mini-excavator to me. I posted a photo a couple of replies above.
That's demo. Initial order of operations is demo -> site prep / grading -> shoring -> excavation.

To add: Shoring is reinforcing the site they want to excavate, to my understanding. All buildings that have been slated to be demoed should have been removed at this point.

Where are you seeing this? Looking on their website both Maple House and Birch House have pretty limited availability, mostly only the crappiest units and a typical amount expected for turnover. Cherry House isn't even occupied yet.

Basically the entire rental industry is doing the 2-free months right now, effectively a 15% discount on first-year rents, especially when they need to be aggressive to lease up a whole building vs. the more normal tenant turnover. The rental market as a whole isn't super strong but I'm not seeing signs of leasing problems in those buildings.

Perhaps what you see as a non-issue of leasing, I do see as an issue. There is a lot of availability at both Birch and Maple…when I have to scroll through a list of available units, I’d say there’s a lot of unit available, not like it’s a handful only. And if brand new rentals have to entice new tenants with months free + additional means to entice, I see that as an issue. There are a ton of other rentals coming up far earlier than 49 Ontario, you honestly think 1,700+ units are going to rent easily when a building with a fraction of that many units is, in my opinion, struggling?
