Scherzer vs. Ohtani in Game 7 is a matchup that people will talk about for decades. Two absolute legends of the game.

A just saw a tweet saying that a Game 7 with two Hall of Fame starters (which both of these guys will be) has happened three times in history - 1926, 1965 and 1991. And possibly 2019, which Scherzer also featured in.

Dodgers win 5-4 in extra innings.

It was a great game, lots of excitement in the last few innings.

WELL DONE BLUE JAYS!!

Great effort all round!!

I feel sad for the players. So many guys on this team that deserved to win that ring.

I left the bar as soon as I saw the Dodgers celebrating on the field. Can't bear to re-watch that inning. Can't bear to look at anything Blue Jays or baseball related right now. Just here to vent.

It was disappointing how at one point in the game, L.A. wanted to "bean" Andres Gimenez and afterwards cleared the benches. I thought these ball clubs respected one another, but I guess that isn't the case.

It will be interesting to see how the Canadian crowd/ fans receive Freddie Freeman if he plays for Canada in the WBC next year.

Time for me to take a break from baseball and just sports in general.

EDIT: Now that I'm home, the longer I sit here, quietly contemplating on what just happened, the angrier I find myself becoming. I really hate the Dodgers organization. I really wanted the Blue Jays to defeat them and show them up. Freddie Freeman and all the other players on media day, before game 1, talking about L.A. achieving a potential dynasty. These guys really waltzed into Toronto at the start of the WS thinking they were going to sweep us.
