Funny how there’s no big view of Flemingdon Park Station. (I wonder why?)
I'm sure they could have drawn it at a weird angle to avoid showing what's right behind it!Funny how there’s no big view of Flemingdon Park Station. (I wonder why?)
The way Metrolinx and GO Transit have been run into the ground the past 7 years, I really doubt that.
I notice the big bus lot with extra platforms to the south (nearer to the viewer) and with places for buses to turn around, has been reduced, and what looks like parkland restored between the bus corridor and Eglinton. Is that really the plan? I recall they said the infamous standing stone would not be coming back because there would be no room for it, so I presumed there would be no big open space like the one shown here.Don Valley Station:

Huh? How is he running them into the ground? Didn't he earmark $70B they're responsible for? I wish I worked somewhere with $70B flowing through it. These are not cash starved places.

Interesting model of bus in the render here...
CityNews website just posted a quick story on today's announcement. Points stated, and my reaction:
The province will not commit to an opening date for the new subway line currently under construction in Toronto.
But Metrolinx CEO Michael Lindsay says they plan to open the Ontario Line by the early 2030s, potentially later than the 2031 target.
Here we go again. The target date was 2030, then 2031, now it's rescinded.
T3G said as much already. But GO peaked in 2018. Now we no longer have 15 minute train service off peak, have daily bus trip cancellations, have broken washrooms, have outsourced customer service that is almost useless, and the handling of service this winter seems particularly poor.Huh? I notice the Thorncliffe Park street renderings only have a cycle track along the north side of Overlea blvd. The Millwood/Overlea intersection was designed to have a cycle track on both sides of Overlea (pic below), and was already started on. I wonder if this is an intentional change.New updated station renderings from today's elevated section groundbreaking announcement. Renderings from Cosburn to Thorncliffe Park Station:

To me that looks like the same shade of purple they shown previously in other documents.so from the rendering, it seems like the colour of the line will be a light purple instead of light blue?
