Met with Reed Clarke yesterday and he also expressed the sentiment that people don’t realize how long it’ll take to open the west LRT. The operation is still up in the air too by the sounds of it….

Did reed clarke said how long will it take ? Why operation is not finalised I believe they have to fund operations in next 4 year budget cycle from 2026 to 2030 this year?

He seemed cautious with words likely because there’s big legal stuff getting sorted with TransEd. That’s my guess at least.

I do hope this drainage work will be much quicker than the 4 or 5 years spent on drainage work for the downtown portion of the VLSE.

102ave is packed with utilities, while I dont think it will take 5 years, its not going to be easy by any stretch for marigold to do it in 2 or 3 years. ( unless it was mainly completed for vlse))
