There is glass along the concourses though. I think that's where the glass makes a difference and makes the place feel more open. Went to a game at Prudential Centre vs Scotiabank Arena (Toronto), and the glass wall in New Jersey made the area feel nicer/more open. Glass in the arena, if it is night time games, will be dark outside, and daytime games, the curtain will be closed, so what would that do exactly?
Keep in mind the arena in New Jersey is built at ground level, Scotia Place is 50ft in the ground, they had significantly more street massing to make appealing, probably double....almost 100% of the uplit flames/curvy exterior of SP is roof structure and above human level.

For reference...the blue circles are the upper concourse, not sure the scale would be worth it at the expense of screwing up the look...

I wouldn't be surprised if the west and north sides get expanded up an additional level in a future renovation. Maybe adding a club behind that open area on the west side and an expanded north upper concourse

Id say that is highly, highly unlikely. You're prob talking about a $30/$40M cost, that may not even be practical engineering wise given the external design changes...with no capacity or premium seating increase. If it made $$ sense, they'd prob be doing it now

Does anyone know of any update on the experience center?
I know Bettman toured it when he was here. As a Half season STH we have not gotten an email with more details, but I've been told at some point those who have paid (at least partially) for '26-'27 will get a tour of the experience centre, select your seat and then be asked to commit in some way to '27-'28.

Side note on the underpass, saw today that they've started laying track on the section they're building beside the existing lines. I assume they'll keep that track around for a Grand Central that I'm sure we'll begin to hear about by April. Edit: I hope it is an April 1 announcement, so we don't know if they're joking.

Why do they need to double track to build the underpass? Did they have to do that for all other ones?

Yes, they did it with 4th Sreet SE if I remember correctly. This allows the CPKC trains to keep operating while they dig out the north half. Then, they will build the underpass on that side, reroute the tracks back across the new bridge, and then build the south half where the temporary tracks are located. This way they do not disrupt the CPKC operations.

If it’s developed by the UCP it will be a joke either way.
