A turn of events in the ongoing Rob Ford saga with a Muskoka twist. It has now been was arrested yesterday afternoon and charged with impaired driving after she was confirmed that the embattled Toronto Mayor’s black Cadillac Escalade sits in the impound yard at Gravenhurst’s Northland Towing and Recovery. Moose News staff Matthew Sitler and Carly Verhoeven were able to take video of the Escalade and the woman who came to obtain her belongings from it today shortly after 3pm. Lee Anne McRobb found behind the wheel of Ford’s vehicle near the Glen Orchard General Store. On video today, McRobb, through no prompting by reporters, tells the owner of the business about maybe having left something in Rob Ford’s room. Later on a second video, McRobb is asked how she came to be behind the wheel of Rob Ford’s Escalade to which she replied “that’s for me to knowâ€. Also on video, McRobb is asked if she stayed at rehab with ford she replied “not anymore.†To watch the first video clip, check out the link below:

edit: As she approaches the counter and starts talking about her lost watch you can catch her saying she left her watch "in Rob Ford's room"?!

See clause 5.5.2 - the norm is not to name a park or street after an individual until two or more years after his/her death, but city council (which has ultimate say) can decide otherwise.

As in Art Eggleton Park on Harbord. Or that square up in North York named after....hmmm, can't seem to place it...must be some Nooobody!

So, who pulled the plates off the SUV currently sitting in a Muskoka impound lot? Police and impound owner say they didn't.
