Thanks! Yeah, I'm curious how much heat they'll actually pump out.
I dunno, probably enough to avert the worst of the bite on really cold days this upcoming winter, but certainly not enough to keep the tunnel at room temperature.

^ I agree. However, I'm still concerned that there aren't any safety bars on the underside of the Gardiner demarcating the height of the PATH bridge. Sure, it is unlikely that an oversized truck will attempt to go underneath, but we're talking about lives being at risk. IMO, this is blatant negligence. I hope I don't get flamed for saying that, but I'm very concerned about this, and I would hate for an (absolutely avoidable) accident to happen before the proper safety measures are put in place.
Nothing can stop that level of stupidity. The walkway is more than tall enough for every type of vehicle to pass under easily.No safety measures have prevented the Burlington Skyway incident, so what's gonna stop another drunken idiot from doing the same here?
