Post your pictures of Toronto here!

I have posted versions of this view a number of times but I like the light in this shot. And Pinnacle One Yonge is now really standing out on the skyline

    Toronto Toronto | Pinnacle One Yonge | 351.85m | 106s | Pinnacle | Hariri Pontarini

Pinnacle One now stands out on the skyline, even from Humber Bay Shores. I don’t know how much to allow for FCP being built farther from the shore, on somewhat higher land. But my guess is that the two structures are now about the same height.

    Toronto Toronto | KING Toronto | 57.6m | 16s | Allied | Bjarke Ingels Group

I like the red strips and fences better than the cladding, so far! But this really is a terrific structure anyways.

A shot at 10:45 PM. Earlier in the evening more units showed lights. But the upper half of the building, or a little more, was completely dark. I would guess that there might be some occupancy on the bottom 40% of the building. But just a guess!

I can see the north and part of the west side of the building . I’ll check this evening to see how many lights are on.

St Anne's Anglican Church (St Annes, ?s, ?)

A few points: The church very likely has insurance. I am not an Anglican but in my own denomination, insurance of the building is actually required by church law. I do not know why it would be very different for Anglicans. A major part of the cost would probably be covered by insurance. I hope...

St Anne's Anglican Church (St Annes, ?s, ?)

Of course this fire, and any other fire, whether arson or not, is a tragedy but we Christians are not the “most targeted “ group in Canada. Some of us need to stop feeling sorry for ourselves.

St Anne's Anglican Church (St Annes, ?s, ?)

St.Anne’s has apparently made itself available for concerts and other public events for many years and my musical connections tell me the acoustics were very good. I went to.a concert in the church shortly before COVID. It was a magnificent structure. Aside from the decorative art executed by...

Local community association president notes in a report, “Silver Moon Marlin Spring will be building a 56 storey condominium on the Esso property on the SE corner of Lake Shore and Park Lawn”. Nothing further in the report.
