I don’t see another non grade separated LRT being built in this city. Goodbye to that Eglinton East LRT, it will never be built. Any extensions of Finch LRT to the Woodbine GO station and further to the airport and also Eglinton to the airport will be grade separated.

I think this line shouldn't open until TPS and other speed issues have been ironed out.

Why do you keep jumping to conclusions ? They have only showed segment from Ottawa to Montreal with a stop in Laval. They haven’t shown the Ottawa to Toronto. We don’t know the number of stops this segment will have yet.

That original estimate for the OL was for just the capital costs. The new estimate includes maintenance and operations if I'm not mistaken. The capital costs increased but not by that much.

This line is the death kneel for LRT in this city. With such crap speeds the public will turn against LRT in this form and I don’t see any more being built. We might as well just build BRT and save billions.

Ford is pouring billions into transit, what are you talking about ? There are countless subway projects under construction, GO expansion plus more planned in the future.

What is the need to have three ALTO stations in Toronto. This is a high speed rail line and not a GO line.
