President Donald Trump's United States of America

I think it won't be followed through on. The 10% extra tariffs due to the Reagan ad never materialized.

    Finch West Line 6 LRT

I would argue speed limits for LRVs could be, say, 10kph higher than that for regular traffic This may require legislative changes -- but perhaps yet another argument for proper grade separation to escape the tyranny of the HTA. A higher limit for rail transit vehicles makes some sense given...

    Finch West Line 6 LRT

Using the bus to travel a few stops is generally fairly acceptable. The problem is when there is so much travel demand on the alignment that even with high frequency, buses are crowded with people traveling longer distances. Higher order transit has more expensive stations so they need to be...

GO Expansion (with DB's vision) would have been a monumental achievement. Opening a mostly surface suburban LRT line is kind of the the bare minimum for a city the size of Toronto.

    What’s your walkability score?

    In the wilds of mississauga.

    PM Mark Carney's Canada

I think giving ministers blanket permission to exempt firms from regulations could be abused. Easier to capture a minister (wink wink nudge nudge for a future paid 'advisory' role) at a conference or something than the cabinet.

Venezuala's oil is only useful as a substitute for Canadian heavy crude for the Texas refineries.
