    Premier Doug Ford's Ontario

Walmart and Home Depot do this as well with a smock/vest/apron as the uniform. I think it is reasonable. The other thing that might be called out is PPE like safety boots, which some employers will voluntarily pay for but is not required.

    Premier Doug Ford's Ontario

I'm not convinced. I used to have to wear business formal, and it was largely clothes I would not buy but to wear to this job. It felt very much like a uniform. Does your opinion change if the workers being told to wear a certain dress code are relatively low paid?

    PM Mark Carney's Canada

John Tory is a pretty tired name. Is there really no one more compelling that the Liberals could put forth?

Yonge Street Revitalization (Downtown Yonge BIA/City of Toronto)

Large items like that are typically delivered by the retailer. Not many people using pickups to pick up TVs or ellipticals from Best Buy at the Eaton Centre.

    PM Mark Carney's Canada

I would not be entirely surprised if Carney goes early if the polling is favourable, and before Trump leaves office, to have a 4 year runway to get some big things done. I would worry that doing things without buy-in toward the end of the mandate is a recipe for the Conservatives to come in and...

President Donald Trump's United States of America

It seems like Trump is not sleeping, or keeping a normal sleep schedule. If he is manning his Xitter account, he has been up at all hours posting links, memes and complaining about Biden.

    PM Mark Carney's Canada

Well, I wouldn't say this majority is bulletproof. They need a few more members to make it so. They are just a downturn in popularity and a couple of deaths or resignations away from being back in minority status.

    GTHA Transit Fare Integration

Isn't this a crazy idea? This would give a rather inordinate amount of power to the union to exact whatever demands they wish. Unions don't operate in the public interest. They are out for union leadership first and foremost, then as a consequence union membership. The public be damned.

President Donald Trump's United States of America

I don't think it's going to gain traction.

President Donald Trump's United States of America

I have not seen MMIWG added to the LGBT grouping in the wild. They are rather different things, I think.

Yonge Street Revitalization (Downtown Yonge BIA/City of Toronto)

Is it just about not wanting to deal with the political fallout of removing lanes on Yonge?

I've taken them on peak. It was faster to drive to Clarkson.

    Mississauga Toronto | Square One District | ?m | 65s | Oxford Properties | Hariri Pontarini

I don't consider GO buses to Union to be good service. MCC has no heavy rail connection or prospects for same, without very high cost and mediocre subway extensions. At the least, MCC should have been oriented toward Hurontario instead of a 1-2 km away from it. The whole Line 10 loop/wye...
